This week required us to look into different Web 2.0 applications, pick one, and write a paper about it. Besides the stress of homecoming week, finding an application that I could use took some time. Alas, I was able to find Track-n-Graph that seems to be useful for an Algebra, Advanced Algebra, and certain science classes. It also looked like a site that once students were introduced to it they could use if for personal information as well.
We also discussed video conferencing. I know that our group was going to be at school and the ability to download Skype was not possible; therefore we felt DimDim would be a great place. I have friends that use Skype so it will be something that I will want to look into downloading.
Finally, I am working on my wiki/ning this week. At the moment don't have much to say about this...maybe at a later date!
Moving forward - can't beat that. I look forward to learning about the app (sorry homecoming was this week - though hopefully a good time). I think we will see more and more video conferencing in the future.
