As a result of taking this class (and from your other experiences in the CSU program), what do you see as your role as an educational leader with in your organization? How has your thinking about your role changed? Have your views of leadership (and leaders) changed? If so, in what ways?

Since we are just starting this class, I am not sure how it will change how I view being an educational leader. Although through my experience in this program I have found that other teachers within my department have been coming to me for help with their laptops (iBook's). I have also found that I am incorporating technology within my classroom and getting my students to be more aware of how educational the internet can be. With that said, I am in the process of looking into how to become certified in using and teaching other teachers in the use of the Promethean Interactive white boards. My future as an educational leader, other than helping out when I can, is uncertain at this time. I am not ready to step out of the classroom, and really do not see myself in a role that requires more politics than being a classroom teacher involves.
Is being a leader limited to being someone who assists with staff development and solving technology issues or are there greater issues?
