OMG!! That was my first thought when hearing these names. My second thought was" who comes up with these names?"
Now moving onto the uses of what I have learned during my masters class to my classroom and using in professional and personal.
Twitter: The only use I can see at the moment is to have great "one-liners" with friends and/or family. I am sure that I could also find a way to use it professionally to ask a question, but that requires followees and followers.
del.ic.io.us: I will be able to use in all three areas, it is just a matter of getting used to the idea instead of the traditional bookmarks.
Podcasts: I can find some uses, but not many within my classroom. Let alone my professional and personal life. I will keep my mind open.
Screencasts: "Giddy like a 5 year old in a candy store." I am "geeking" out about creating my personal instructions on using Geometer SketchPad. (Yes, I understand that I am kind of "reinventing" the wheel here, yet it will be personalized!)
So many tools, now to integrate them - time to Geek and enjoy!
